The Village of Gasquet has always been a favorite area to
live or vacation because of the fabulous scenery and inviting weather.
Gasquet is in proximity to the Pacific Ocean, but far enough away to be
out of the coastal fog.
The weather in Del Norte County ranges from mild along the coast to much warmer inland along the Smith River. On the coast average temperatures range from 40-55 F in winter to 53-66 F in summer. Inland temperatures average about 5-10 degrees warmer in summer. The average annual rainfall along the coast is 70 inches.
